We have organised a visit to Brooklands Museum and London Bus Museum by public transport on Wednesday 5 August. Further details will be in the May Newsletter for our members. This is a replacement for our planned visit to the Bluebell Railway which has been postponed.
Greetings cards, stamps and gifts sold at our talks have generated £700 surplus which we recently donated to the National Trust's Neptune Coastline Campaign. Thank you to everyone who supported the sales table and made this possible.
Beckenham: we meet informally for coffee from 10.45 am at Joy's Kitchen, Beckenham Methodist Church (where our Thursday afternoon meetings are held) on the first Monday of each month in school term time.
Bromley: we meet informally for coffee from 10.45 am at 1917 Chill Café, Widmore Road (opposite Boots and the URC church) on the fourth Wednesday of each month.
Our Christmas Lunch for members will be on Thursday 10 December.
